Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how getEW handles your personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

• Account details: email address and password (stored securely).
• Customer details: name, mobile number, email, address and PIN code.
• Product details: brand, model, IMEI/serial number, invoice date, amount and merchant.
• Payment references (not card or bank credentials, which are handled by the payment gateway).

Why we use it

To process your purchase, share required details with TATA AIG for policy issuance and claims, send receipts and policy documents, provide support and meet legal obligations.

Sharing

We share your data only with the Insurer, the payment gateway and service providers who help us run the platform, and with authorities where required by law. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements) by writing to hi@getew.info or WhatsApp +91 79944 10111.

Security & retention

We use industry-standard safeguards. Data is retained for as long as needed for the policy term, claims and applicable legal requirements.
