These Terms govern your use of getEW.info ("getEW", "we", "us"), owned and operated by LITTLE BIG DREAM, a proprietorship firm at Door No. 67/9080/A33, Panickassery Building, Convent Road, Kanayannur Taluk, Ernakulam, Kerala – 682035. By using the website or buying through it, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our role

getEW is a technology facilitation platform that helps customers purchase Extended Warranty (SMARTCARE) insurance issued by TATA AIG General Insurance Company Ltd. ("Insurer"). getEW is not an insurer and does not underwrite, issue, service or settle policies or claims. The contract of insurance is solely between you and the Insurer, subject to the Insurer's policy wordings, schedule and terms.

2. Eligibility

• The product must be new, purchased from a merchant located in Kerala, and used for personal (non-commercial) purposes.
• The product must carry a manufacturer warranty of at least 1 year, with brand-authorised service available in Kerala. Smartphones must carry a 1-year manufacturer warranty; other appliances 1, 2 or 3 years.
• Total protection (manufacturer + extended) cannot exceed 5 years. Smartphones: 1 or 2 years extended; other products: up to 3 years extended.
• The extended warranty must be purchased within 75 days of the product invoice date.
• The product must be in working condition and free of damage at the time of purchase.

3. Your information

You confirm that all details you provide (personal details, invoice, IMEI/serial number, merchant details) are true, accurate and complete. Incorrect, incomplete or false information may lead to rejection of the policy or claim by the Insurer, and getEW shall not be responsible for such outcomes.

4. Price and payment

Premiums shown are based on the Insurer's rate card and are inclusive of 18% GST. The premium is calculated on the invoice value (excluding card/bank discounts and shipping). Payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway; getEW does not store card details.

5. Policy issuance

A payment receipt is provided immediately. The policy is issued by the Insurer, and we aim to make it available within 48 working hours. Issuance is subject to the Insurer's acceptance. If a policy cannot be issued, you will receive a full refund as per our Refund Policy.

6. Coverage and claims

Coverage, exclusions, limits, depreciation and claims are determined solely by the Insurer's policy terms. Claims must be made with the Insurer and repairs carried out at brand-authorised service centres. getEW may assist you with information but does not guarantee the outcome of any claim.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, getEW's total liability in connection with any purchase is limited to the amount paid by you through the platform for that purchase. getEW is not liable for any decision of the Insurer, service centre or manufacturer, or for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ernakulam, Kerala shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or your right to approach the Insurer's grievance cell, the Insurance Ombudsman or IRDAI.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on the website at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.

Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at Ernakulam, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction.
